Life is strange, but it's still life.  If we were able to really see our thoughts even just throughout one day, we'd observe the strangest occurence of ambivalence not only to God but to anything that even exists.  One minute our minds may be infatuated on the very thought of Abba and the next we wish only to serve our strange desires and pleasures.  It doesn't make much sense in our heads, but when you realize that your life is a battlefield between two outside forces that both have influence on your insides it makes more sense.  We are far from being renewed to what we are supposed to be and intended to be, so as we are continually being "transformed by the renewing of our minds" we find ourselves falling short of where we want, wish, thought we were to be already.

Do not count yourself always as such an enemy.  We are severely feeble in mind, the concepts in our heads that we attempt to juggle are far too heavy for us on our own.  We are a constant sphere of influence and choice, and therefore oftentimes leading to a strange concoction of action and outcome.  Declarative will, desirable, free will, and influence without forcing of hand, equals oddity.

Layman's terms: don't beat yourself up, we all stumble.  Guilt is the enemy's and conviction is the Lord's.  Pray that God reveal your hidden faults, and then work to change them.  If any man is without fault, he is a perfect man and able to keep his whole body in check at all times.  Do you know such a man?

I think one of the biggest problems facing Christians today is that we have a hard time showing (showing, as in giving the impression, not convincing) non-believers that God is relevant.  We hop on the Jesus bandwagon, put Him in our Xangas, and sport the fact that He is our "homeboy."  There is a lot more to it than that.  Our lives should reflect Him.  It is our day to day, minute to minute, second to second actions that will convict others, and show them that God is relevant day to day, second to second.  Our words are used to explain the Gospel that brings freedom; freedom from guilt, freedom from the feelings and the thoughts that speak "I am worthless."  I'm not so sure that we as believers communicate that in a clear way to the non-believing world.  Well my apology here at least.  I am sorry to all my friends, and to all the people I have known or talked to that are not already believing in Christ.  I fail to communicate what reality actually is, but I plan on working on it.

1 Peter 3:15b - Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect...

Thoughts?  I'm not so sure I am right in all of this, i think i am, but idk.  If any still does Xanga lol, leave some.

Wake up, o sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.
    -Ephesians 5:4

I wonder if I will ever wake up and be the man God originally intended me to be in the first place...pray that I do.
